What happens if you die without making a Will?

In England and Wales, if you die without making a Will it is known as dying ‘Intestate’. This means it falls to the Government guidelines to allocate your estate.

As you can see, if you have lived unmarried to your partner for many year’s and even have a child together, should you die without making a Will, that partner will get NOTHING from you.
